Sherri Lynne Cabe Batts, is a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Kansas. She attended the Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools graduating from Sumner Academy of Arts and Sciences. She was the Senior Class President of the first graduating class from the Academy. Going on to further her education at the University of Kansas, she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism and received a Masters of Business Essentials Certificate also from the University of Kansas.

After graduating from college, Sherri entered Corporate America accepting a position at the Kansas City Board of Trade. She expanded her career by moving on to join General Electric where she served on the management team for eight years. Desiring additional growth, Sherri accepted a position with Interstate Brands Corporation, the largest company of fresh baked goods in the United States, were she supervised the Consumer Affairs Department at the corporate headquarters.

Currently, she is a dedicated staff member of the Mt. Carmel church where she holds the position of Executive Assistant to the Pastor. Sherri strives to walk in her destiny by always lining up with God’s will for her life. She fervently channels her many years of corporate, not for profit and personal experiences to assist her local community and passionately works with young women encouraging them to reach their highest potential. Sherri has one son, Julian, whom she immensely enjoys following his young adult endeavors.
